Georg W. Reinberg

Architect Georg W. Reinberg, born 1950, studied at the Vienna University of Technology (Dipl.-Ing.) and at Syracuse University, New York (M. Arch.). The architectural office Reinberg exists since 1982 as a planning office and since 1985 as a civil engineering office. Since then architect Reinberg has designed about 350 projects and realized more than 100 projects. All of these projects meet high ecological standards. The architectural office Reinberg is active in design, planning and execution (including cost and construction management).

Architect Reinberg runs the architectural office together with his wife Marta Enriquez Reinberg.
In addition to teaching at the Danube University Krems (guest professor – solar architecture, renovation and facility management: since 1997), Vienna University of Technology (“solar building”) and the FH Campus Vienna (green building: housing), architect Reinberg also teaches internationally and is active as a lecturer, for example, in Mexico, USA, Colombia, Panama, Italy, France, England, Spain, Czech Republic, Belgium, Sweden, Germany and others.

Architect Reinberg received among others the Upper Austrian and the Burgenland State Culture Prize, Lower Austrian Timber Construction Prize, the Fassa Bartolo Prize for Sustainable Architecture and was nominated for the Austrian State Prize for Architecture in 2004 and 2006.

He is delegate PlusEnergieBau-Gebäudesanierung on the Norman Foster-PlusEnergieBau-Jury (Swiss solar award).

Within the architecture firm, architect Reinberg is constantly conducting research projects related to his buildings.

Architect Reinberg has 3 children: Maria (1993), Florian (1981) and Nikolaus (1977).
